Aesthetic Outburst turns five in March, which is sort of hard for me to believe. I've spent hours 'blog cleaning' recently (tagging posts and re-sizing images) and came across all of these old photos that I took. Please forgive the almost complete randomness, but I'm feeling a little nostalgic today. Links to the related posts are above each photo.

Your picture of morning glories brought a tear to my eye! I grew up in Vestal, NY, but spent much of my adulthood making trips to Owego. I remember how all the "nice" houses sported morning glories on their porch or mailbox all summer long. That picture so captured waking up early on a summer morning, while fog still hung over the neighborhood, thinking anything was possible and it all lay before you. Thank you so much for the trip down memory lane. Your blog is one of my favourites.
Those garden gnome cookies are adorable!
Happy 5th! Mine just turned five, too. Time is flying by!
Five years is quite an accomplishment - congrats!
p.s. Love those little gnome cookies...

I love the wreath I might use it as inspiration to make one myself if that's okay.

Hi there! I was wondering where you got the white rug with the blue birds on it!?!
Those mini quilts were always a fave of mine. I love pretty little things that can be played with but could also be art.
Hi Abbey, The beautiful resurrection of your farmhouse has given us hope for our family homeplace. We have many of the same issues. Not the least is removal of the layers of tile and glue from the original kitchen floor. Could you give us more info on the "MEX" product you reference in your blog?
Thanks so much, everyone!
@Nicolette Lafonseca-Hargreaves- definitely! Give it a try! :)
@Lily Magnolia- I found it at an antiques store that was going out of business. It's wool, which I only know because I shrunk the matching rug. :)
@cj, ATL- here's a link to Mex All-Purpose Cleaner. You can mix it at different strengths. It worked wonders. Good luck!
