Out of the fog...

Phew! The Hendricksons have been down for the count this week! Today is the first day that we all feel relatively normal. The worst part of being a parent is when your children are hurt or sick and, when they are, it makes everything else feel inconsequential. Needless to say, it's a relief to have two happy, healthy kids tearing around the house again. Today is a busy crafting/baking day at our house. We have party hats to make, a New Year's Eve garland to finish, and a birthday cake to bake for my brother's (wonderful!!) girlfriend. Stay tuned for a New Year's Eve DIY first thing tomorrow morning. And thank you again for being amazing!

Poor little guys. When they're sick, of course you want to make them feel better, but at the same time, they're so cute when they're all floppy and stuffed up. Always makes me want to squeeze my little one all the more, but not squeeze the germs all over myself too. Passing it back and forth is never good.

So glad to have found Aesthetic Outburst! I'm looking forward to checking out your site.

And I agree, the return of a child's health makes us grateful even for broken vases. Even really special ones:)

Thanks for sharing!
