Farmhouse update...

peonies
When it comes to farmhouse renovations, I've been kind of quiet lately. For the past three weeks, things have been at a standstill while we entered back into negotiations with the seller. Everything is almost resolved, so we should be back at it again tomorrow (fingers crossed...I'll explain as soon as I can). I cut these peonies when we were there last and took a photo to remind myself to focus on the positive. Getting these hideous kitchen cabinets painted will certainly be positive. Yowza! I'm not sure what's up with this faux finish, but all of the cabinet doors are now officially mold-free. Focus on the positive. Focus on the positive.

Good luck with closing, it seems to always be a stressful process : ) Can't wait to see what great things you will come up with for the farm house.

hoping the farmhouse drama comes to a quick end. negotiations are rarely fun, but hey at least the cabinets are mold free. :)

Hang in there, Abbie!
It will be so worth it in the end. I can't wait for all of the farmhouse project blog posts.
Good luck!
