Want to know one of the reasons why I love being a blogger? Meeting talented artists like Shelley Weber. How fabulous is this graphite portrait that she made of EZ E?! Just send her your favorite photo, in this case a dapper photo of EZ E, and Shelley will make a graphite portrait. That drawing of the girl's neck below...so pretty. You can see more of Shelley's work on her blog and head over to her shop to commission a drawing! I'm off to choose a photo of Kicky.

That's awesome. It's very Chuck Close!! I am assuming, though, that it's not 12 feet tall. HA!

Someone needs to write a children's book wherein the main character is represented by that drawing of EZE. Flipping adorable!

Thank you everyone!! Your comments are so sweet, and very much appreciated!! The whole post is just wonderful and extremely encouraging! Thank you!
And just as an FYI for everyone; the drawing of EZ E was done on my new paper (Canson Bristol), which is what I will be using exclusively from now on (for obvious reasons). So any portraits commissioned at this point will have similar qualities as the EZ E drawing!!
