♥ (day 14)...

handmade valentine
20 handmade valentines in 20 days...day 14. Can you tell that I'm on kind of a drawing kick this week? Some days I miss grad school so much that it's palpable...and then I get hit in the head with a wad of chewed goldfish and snap back into reality. :) Best of luck!
♥,
Abbey

School days. . . they were so nice in some ways, but I do love all the territory of motherhood. Who knows, maybe you've got a piece in the making from the collective slobbery goldfish wad experience?
beautiful beautiful valentine today! and what a great way to continue the studio practice!

Beautiful and delicious - I want to eat this Valentine (even though it is wood and not cookie).

Ooh, I really love this one! It's the details that do it for me - I love how you let the wood show through in some of the triangles.

Mmm. This one is great. I love the drawing kick you're on. Where oh where did you find the wooden heart? It looks much nicer than what is for sale in the woodcraft sections of our shops.

Thanks, everybody!

I completely agree with you, Renee. I didn't realize how much I took that time for granted. :)

Amy, I made the wooden heart (it's cut from a scrap piece of wood we had in the garage). :)

Good luck! xo, Abbey
