♥ (day 9)...

handmade valentine
20 handmade valentines in 20 days...day 9. Long-time readers may remember the 'jar-o-hearts' that I give to PRH every year for Valentine's Day. It's been a lovely tradition, one that I thought someone else may be interested in starting. This jar-o-hearts was made using a small jelly jar and a ton of punched hearts, ready for sweet messages to be written on the back. Best of luck!
♥,
Abbey

OK, so I am not trying to increase my odds by two comments -- but I must say THANK YOU. I have been in a making lull, overwhelmed with blogland idea lust. Your 20 in 20 at Christmas was the height of my work/busy season, but right now I have no excuse. And you have kicked me out of my lull, and I am making! I have a sweet six party I am planning for my little lady...and I am so motivated to make -- it is unreal! Thanks. A ton. For the keep on, keeping on. I have been a flurry of making all week, like I once managed, sneaking it into every crevice of my stay-at-home, work-at-home extra time...even if it is tiny snatches at a time, or too-late hours of the evening. It has been so life giving!

Oh Abbey, I think you've outdone yourself on the adorable scale with this one!

And your recurring Jar-O-Hearts Valentine's Day gift reminds me of the heart-shaped Valentine's Day cake my mom makes for my dad. She's been making it every Valentine's Day, using the same heart pans, for nearly 60 years ---
