Timber...

Continuing with the holiday decor at our house...this collection of trees was on our dining room table until *someone* decided to be an insane little lumberjack (perhaps channeling a certain ornament?) and knock down all of the trees. I've since moved the trees to higher ground, far from the grubby paws of a certain three year old boy. The painting in the background was made by PRH's great aunt in the 1950's. It seemed like the perfect backdrop.

Do you have any pets? I look at all your lovely collections around your home and can't help but to think how my two cats would have a field day...all day.

I really enjoy seeing the different collections you have set up (birds, deer, and trees). It had never occurred to me that I could rotate throughout the year (and the house) my collections of whatever. I've always had this static outlook that everything was fixed in its place. I'm certainly feeling inspired to play around with the spaces in my house!

What a lovely tablescape. You are great at creating little still lifes. I'd want to sit at this table and write and write occasionally looking up to smile at the trees and the painting.

@April- no, no pets...just two little kids. PRH is very allergic. Trust me, my kids have a field day with all of this stuff. :)

That little painting is so sweet, I absolutely love it. It would look so fantastic with my collection of winter scene paint by numbers and vintage paintings. Great liitle grouping of trees too.
