I thought you may like to see sock monkey in his new bed with his new quilt. EZ E was not impressed. On christmas morning he only glanced at it long enough to ask, "Why's sock monkey in some bed?". I don't think he would've given it a second look if Kicky hadn't tried to crawl into the bed and broken it. Lesson learned.

awww. well, sometimes the journey is more fun than the destination. I'm sure he'll love it eventually. It's adorable.
Oh, man. Me too. I was up until 1 am Christmas eve making a pair of dolls for my daughter and I swear she actually looked *offended* when she opened the package. She's currently decorating the house with leftover fiberfill.
So much for the best intentions, eh? One day, they will appreciate the hard work.
Aww I'm sorry. I think it turned out super cute!
:) You're all very sweet. Sarah- that is hilarious.

hehe. i made a twin size, hand appliqued, embroidered, pieced quilt for my daughter and gave it to her for her 10th bday. she said, " this is not my real present is it? i am going to get a toy or something, right?"
keep up the good work with your kiddos!
