Q: at what point do we stop using the aesthetics of comfort to guard against the emerging aesthetics of collapse?

Michael,
I appreciate you taking the time to post a comment and thought I'd answer your question here. I'm not sure what you consider to be the "aesthetics of comfort", nor do I know what you consider to be the "emerging aesthetics of collapse" that you're suggesting we need to guard against. I think your 'question' is really more of a statement. :)
Best,
Abbey
