Dream house...

cottage
How gorgeous is this house that I found on Anna's lovely tumblr? I am SO wishing for a little cottage in the middle of nowhere this morning. What are you wishing for today?

I would love a historic cottage on the Irish or English countryside. :)

Love the blog! I'm a new follower. Feel free to look me up.

Hello. Great blog. I have always wanted a place out in the country where all you can hear is birds chirping and the pine trees blowing in the wind. Well now I have that so I don't know what to dream about now...I'll have to think of something else. haha. I am new to blogging so will follow you. If you have a chance to check me out I'd love any comments. P.S. Upstate NY is one of my favorite places in the US. Adirondacks, Lake George, Lake Placid, Ticonderoga, Malone, are all places I've been. Love it.

I'd like a cottage by the sea with a huge tree beside it and a swing hanging off the tree. I'd have chickens, goats and horses. I'd have nice neighbors, who would drop by for coffee, warm weather and soft breezes. And best of all, no telephone.

I want a nice little place in the mountains...maybe on a lake with a nice wrap around porch from which to watch sunrises and sunsets. Peaceful and tucked away...my own little paradise! Snowed in by a fireplace with tea and a book in the winter and fresh brewed iced tea, rope swings and fireflies in the summer! Heaven!

Love the blog...feel free to check me out at http://jewelsturning30.blogspot.com

Thanks for the lovely inspiration...now I must go write on my dream house! :-)

Have you seen this blog before? It's not my blog, but it's one of my favorites. Your post about the dream house reminded me of it.

The house is in Georgetown, SC and is the guest house cottage on the property of an old plantation home - Mansfield Plantation. It is on the marsh with a hammock in the trees. It has two doors because it is used as a bed & breakfast.

It was beautiful and anyone can stay there. The property is amazing. I took the photo a couple of weeks ago.
