Winter's light...

Perhaps it's the darker light of winter, but I've been thinking a lot lately about lighting. One of my favorites (and a particularly affordable) option is Adam Brackney's light available at workerman. It's so simple and clean-looking. It wouldn't look as great with a cfl, but it really is quite nice. I could see this as a project in ready made, couldn't you?

That light is fab! I'm loving (semi) exposed bulbs lately, notably ones encased in clear glass (there was the best purple one in Real Simple magazine this month).

On a semi-related note, I bought CFL's and I hate them, they have the grossest color light. And I'm stuck with them for approx. 7 years? sigh.

Too funny! I clicked "Winter's Light" in my Google Reader because I liked the post title...and there was a mention of ReadyMade. Great minds!

Thanks for posting about my light! I'm so glad you like it! I have a few new wood styles coming out in the couple of days that are going to be gorgeous. - Adam (Workerman)
