Collected...

My apologies for disappearing...EZ E is sick again. It may not seem like it, but I try not to talk about things like this here at Aesthetic Outburst often. This semester has particularly difficult though...we've been in to see the pediatrician at least once a week since October and have had a hard time trying to balance jobs, grad school, and life. We've taken EZ E out of daycare for the next couple of weeks and are trying to change his diet, thinking that perhaps he has an allergy (to dairy???) that may be compromising his health. We're thinking that that in combination with his adorable, but decidedly snot-nosed, classmates have been contributing to all of these ear and sinus infections, colds, and general ick. He seems to be coming around and was finally up and playing yesterday. Anyways, I won't blather on...I saw these air mail stamps on one of my favorite blogs, Hi + Lo and thought they were fitting for the insane amount of mail people are sending this time of year. You can see more and bid on them here. It's SNOWING here (big time) and we're going to enjoy a cozy day at home. Have a great day and thanks for your patience.

Oh Abbie I feel for all of you! We're just coming out of two weeks of sickness, I can't imagine since October. Good luck with the isolation and hope you all have a wonderful holiday,
Andrea

Hey girl - I used to be a baby wrangling professional- directed a drop in daycare in a Human Services building- so saw lots of leaky kids- yes a break for his immune system is probably good- but kids during their time in daycare - are exposed to alot - this makes it hard on y'all now - but he'll have immune super powers by school age- it's often reccomended that dairy is removed- due to the aforementioned leaking- yogurt is good to keep on board- all those live goodies- this shall pass - But i really really reccomend hearing checks after the ear infections- especially repeated ones it can really effect their hearing - those eustation tubes are so tiny- and your wee one looks to be at an age where any hearing compromise can be a big one- stay cosy - push fluids- and have a good Holiday- JoDee
