Screened porch envy...
We just came home from a fabulous dinner at the home of our dear friends Alisia and Duncan (and their two little sweet ones). The entire family is quite talented and, as always, I was impressed with dinner, the entertainment, and with what they've done with their house. They've screened in their back porch and have chairs similar to this Heywood Wakefield chair, but covered in simple cream-colored slip covers with beautiful pillows hand-made by Alisia. She said that the whole set was a cheap score and that it was grubby at first, but they refinished the set by using a type of marine/boat sealant (usually used for teak)...totally genius! The whole set is gorgeous and will last forever...right along with my screened porch envy.
